Electric smelting furnace is one kind of industrial furnace with huge electricity consumption£¬also know as electric-arc furnace or electric-resistance furnace¡£It mainly produces ferroalloy such as fesi,ferromanganese£¬ferrochrome£¬ferrotungsten and so on£¬which is important industrial raw material in metallurgical industry as well as calcium and other chemicals¡£Flue gas of electric smelting furnace is CO-based high temperature initial furnace gas£¬which is produced when the carbon deoxidates elements such as silicon£¬iron under high temperature created by electricity¡£The furnace gas forms when it leaves the furnace and combusts in the air£¬then abundant air is mixed into the draught Hood of flue gas collection system¡£The furnace can’t achieve omniseal because of particularity of electric smelting furnace¡£Therefore£¬air sucted into flue gas is far more than furnacegas¡£There is about 50% total energy without energy recovery in the heat carried by flue gas£¨flue gas heat loss£©¡£
